WHAT IS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ?
Training and development in Human Resource Management refers to a system of educating employees within a company. It includes various tools,instructions,and activities designed to improve employee performance.It's an opportunity for employees to increase their knowledge and upgrade their skills.

1.Increase company productivity.
Training the employees to use advanced tools and technology will improve their efficiency.
2.Improve product or service quality.
Training and development programs are an opportunity for experts within the organization to share their techniques.
3.Lessen employee turnover.
Research has shown that training and development has a positive impact on employee turnover. Workers will surely appreciate companies investment in their development.
4. Decrease costs and errors.

IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Retains employees
Retention is a major challenge for employees but retaining strong workers can be acheived through career development. Offering career development initiatives helps employees establish a sense of value within the company and fosters loyalty.
- Develops future leaders
Targeting empmoyees with the skills for future leadership can be vital in establishing a business for growth and evolution. Leadership talent can be acquired through new hires or,HR professionals can select current employees as managerial candidates.
- Empowers employees
Leaders who feel empowered within the workplace will be more effective at influencing at employees and gaining their trust.
- Boosts workplace engagement
Finding ways to bolster the consistent engagement of employees can diminish boredom in the workplace, which left unchecked can create feelings of dissatisfaction and negative working habbits.

CURRENT TRENDS IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Remote mobile training
Training is migrated to mobile devces where apps provide ''just-in-time'' information and recommendations to workers across industries.
- AI training
AI systems can process unstructured information in a similar way to humans. These systems understand language patterns and sensory inputs including text,pictures and auditory cues.
- Agile learning
Agile learning is a process of encouraging employees to learn by doing an iterate often, inspiring organizational change and buy-in.
- Remote flexible learning models
While distance learning has been around for a long time, the COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the need for companies to have resilient,flexible, mobile workforce management.
ADVANTAGES OF TRAINING AND DEVELOMENT
ADVANTAGES :
1. Helps employees develop new skills and increase their knowledge.
2. Improves efficiency and productivity of individuals and teams.
3. Creates new and improved job positions.
4. Keeps employees motivated and enhance contribution levels.
DISADVANTAGES :
1. It is a relatively expensive process.
2. There is a risk that after the training and development session, the employee can quit the job.

CONCLUSION
Training aims at continuous self-development of the employees. Employees are expected to develop them selves continuously in an organization. When the employees in an organization are developed from time to time with all updated knowledge, then definetely that organization will grow to a greater height.
